Danit Ariel's artistic practice explores the themes of love, loss, and the evolution of countercultures. Ariel investigates how we share and hold each other's stories, as well as how art can facilitate new ways of 'meeting', by creating a visual playground of photography, poetry, and moving images.

Her work stems from extensive research on the relationship between empathy and artistic practices, in an attempt to dig deeper below the surface, with an emphasis on giving platform to marginalized narratives.
