One and twenty-five moments

For The Unfair Editions, I created a series of 25 unique photographs over the course of a standard eight-hour workday, including a 30-minute lunch break. The work stems from an interest in the labor conditions that shape creative practice, and from my own recurring doubts about the irregular and often invisible hours in which artistic labor takes place. Each image has a total exposure time of 18 minutes, together amounting to a total of 7.5 hours of exposure. The image conveys my interest in the snapshot: a site for image production outside the aim for documentary or artistic purpose. From my archive of snapshots, i pick two images that get combined into one.
